Shake It Up - Break It Down

The latest release from Walt Disney Records is the soundtrack to the hit Disney Channel show “Shake It Up” titled “Shake It Up: Break It Down”.

The album is a collection of songs which were made specifically for the album to dance to. It’s obvious intention is to get kids moving and dancing along to the great selection of tracks.

The album includes the show’s theme song “Shake It Up” performed by one of Disney’s hottest acts and fellow Disney Channel star Selena Gomez. Also included is Disney Channel favourite Anna Margaret, who has featured on the soundtrack to the Disney Channel Original Movie “StarStruck” and one half of producing duo Rock Mafia, Tim James. Also included on the soundtrack is “Lemonade Mouth” star Adam Hicks and the stars of “Shake It Up”, Bella Thorne and Zendaya.

The soundtrack also includes a “Break It Down” DVD which includes five instructional dance videos to five tracks from the soundtrack; “School’s Out”, “Watch Me”, “Breakout”, “Not Too Young” and “Shake It Up”.

Although a few of the names included on the soundtrack might not be too recognisable the music itself makes up for the star power. When each track makes you want to dance you know it’s a winner. Available now from Walt Disney Records and Universal Music Australia.
