Pop It Rock It 2

Following the release of the original compilation "Pop It Rock It" comes "Pop It Rock It 2".

The album is a collection of popular and favourite songs from Disney Channel Original Series' and Movies' and songs from your favourite Disney Channel stars.

Included are songs from Hollywood Records artists' Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas. Plus Walt Disney Records' artist Mitchel Musso. The album includes a range of different tracks spanning a few years. The oldest track on the compilation is "Breaking Free", a track recorded by Zac Efron (plus added vocals from Drew Seeley) and Vanessa Hudgens in 2006 for the original High School Musical. Another old track is "The Best of Both World", the original version of the theme song from hit Disney Channel TV series "Hannah Montana", sung by a very young Miley Cyrus. Also from Hannah Montana are songs from the third season soundtrack such as the Radio Disney single "He Could Be The One" and the bouncy dance-a-long track "Ice Cream Freeze (Let's Chill)". A range of songs from Disney Channel's latest original movie "StarStruck" are included. These tracks include "Something About The Sunshine" performed by Hollywood Record's newest act Anna Margaret and the title track "Starstruck" performed by Sterling Knight/ Drew Ryan Scott. Also included are songs from the Walt Disney Motion Picture High School Musical 3: Senior Year ("Now or Never"), the Disney Channel Original movies Camp Rock ("This Is Me", "Play My Music", "We Rock") and The Cheetah Girls: One World ("Cheetah Love) and Disney Channel Original series Sonny With A Chance ("So Far, So Great") and Wizards of Waverly Place ("Everything Is Not What It Seems"). Altogether there are a total of twenty-two tracks.

Also included is a bonus DVD with eight music videos. These music videos include "Shout It" and "Hey" performed by Mitchel Musso, "Magic" performed by Selena Gomez, "Party Up" performed by Stubby, "Starstruck" performed by Christopher Wilde, "Something About The Sunshine" performed by Anna Margaret and "Supergirl" and "Every Part of Me" performed by Hannah Montana. Also included are sneak peeks for "My Camp Rock" and "Camp Rock 2". I didn't find the "My Camp Rock" feature that interesting as it was about the UK version of the reality show and I wasn't that interested in finding out the story behind the winner of the series. I did enjoy the "Road To Camp Rock 2" feature. Although rather short, it was a good inclusion with all the backstage access to the filming of the Disney Channel Original Movie.
